Never Here is a short, narrative driven psychological horror game focused on grief and the things we bury. You play as someone going about what seems like a normal day, though they blend together, something different happens today. Something dark, impossible. Discover what and why that is.
First-person exploration with small interactions and very light "puzzles".

DISCLAIMER PLEASE READ - This is my first game ever so I apologize for the size of the game (very unoptimized assets/code + lots of HD assets). If you experience any bugs/get stuck, restarting and slowly following the monologues should get you to the end. Also, if you try to play the game on an ultrawide monitor, you MIGHT run into some issues so if you can, try to play on a regular monitor!
If you try to extract/run the game and Windows Defender detects it as potentially harmful, don't worry, the majority of Unity games on here do that, it's just because Unity generates exe files that have no digital certificate or have generic data that Windows is scared of.

Congrats on your first game! I truly enjoyed playing it. It's a really pretty game with impressive graphics and solid gameplay mechanics. It ran smoothly on my PC. I must say the ending did left me a bit confused though.

Great Game!
I’ve been a fan of fineokay for many years now. He has segments on Sunday where he plays horror games and I've also known he's been working on a short horror game. Over time, hearing him talk about the development process of this game, it was clear just how passionate he was about the project.
After play Never Here, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. You can really feel the months of work he poured into it. The story and plot are subtle and well-though out. The audio and visuals are excellent and suits the game. The game captures psychological horror beautifully and it doesn't rely on cheap jump scares, but still keeps you on edge the entire time.
It’s awesome to see a creator I’ve followed for so long try something different! I’m genuinely excited to see what fineokay does next. Would recommend!

Well paced, doesn't overstay its welcome, and the ambiance lends itself well to that elusive suspenseful feeling of something constantly lurking just outside your field of view. A promising start, by any metric.
